It was a quiet day at work when I took this one.

Going to get some more training net week.  I will be in Houston for 4 days.  Wonder how many bars I'll hit.  Would be better if I could find a place to work out for free or at least hit some balls on a driving range.

I was thinking about the people that I call friends.  The vast majority of which I met through my job. 

My crew got stuck together on the beach not long ago.  The weather had the helicopters grounded, so we went and got room at a hotel.  We all went to eat together and later team building (bar hopping and drinking).  We quit just before midnight and went back to the hotel.  No sooner than I got to my room and freshened up than I grabbed my keys and went back out.  Closed the bars and cruised around for another hour after that.

I wonder what I'm missing?

I hadn't been keeping up with my site for a while.  Satisfied to just read other people's blogs and post an occasional comment. 

Now I think that I need to put down some thoughts for my own sake.

Work related stuff isn't sexy but its what's on my mind right now. 

It seems to me that once as a small child and my parents took the family to the beach, I saw in the distance my first offshore oil rig.  I have a clear memory of it.  I don't know why but I knew that this was where I was going to be working someday.  I'm happy doing what I do.  Worked with lots of different people and met people from all over. 

I'm going somewhere with this, just not all at once.......

i'm still here.  haven't felt the need to post.  things are going good right now.  knock on wood. 

been busy lately.  lots of work.  will post again soon.

Hollywood film crew onboard today.  My platform is going to be in a commercial.  They will rubout the name though.

  Feeling refreshed.  Ready to go treasure hunting at the fleamarkets and thrift stores. 

I should post pictures of what I see.  I think I will. 

Next week - if its not raining because of another tropical storm.

LOSING MOTIVATION.  READY TO GO HOME.  TOMORROW.  BEEN A HARD WEEK TO CONCENTRATE ON MY JOB.
